Rajasthan Police Chief Urges Strengthened Patrolling and Action Against Organised Crime

Rajasthan Director General of Police Rajeev Kumar Sharma directed officers to act with responsibility and commitment, emphasizing strengthened police patrolling and constant visibility to boost public confidence and deter criminals. He urged more effective evening and night patrols and year-round road safety drives. Sharma also instructed the use of BMS provisions for financial investigations into organised crime properties and stressed regular follow-up on pending cases. Senior officers from the Ajmer range reviewed district-wise crime trends and policing challenges during the meeting.
