A man identified as Akash Rupkumar Jadhavani has been arrested for allegedly defrauding multiple individuals in a villa booking scam. The accused, who has at least 15 prior criminal cases, was apprehended after a complaint from a man who paid ₹1.5 lakh for a two-day Lonavala villa booking that was later canceled with no refund. Investigations revealed the accused used fake GST details and a false identity, with further probes indicating similar frauds across multiple locations.
