In Navi Mumbai, two separate financial frauds have been reported. In Uran's Sarde village, three family members allegedly duped 17 investors of Rs 3.30 crore through a chit fund scheme promising high returns within 15 days before fleeing. Separately, police raided a bogus call centre in Mahape that defrauded investors of over Rs 1 crore by promising profits from share market trading. Two suspects have been arrested in the call centre case, while one accused remains absconding. Investigations are ongoing in both cases.
