Newly Married Man Killed in Suspected Honour Killing in Andhra Pradesh

In East Godavari district, Andhra Pradesh, Polipalli Surya Prakash, husband of Deputy Tahsildar Sandhya, was killed in a suspected honour killing hours after their marriage at Annavaram temple. The attack, reportedly by the bride's family members opposing the inter-caste union, involved stoning at the groom's residence in Dwarapudi village. Police have registered a murder case, arrested three suspects including the bride's brothers, and are investigating the incident.
