Police in Karimnagar have invoked the Preventive Detention (PD) Act against a 23-year-old private driver, Sampangi Premkumar. Premkumar, from Rajanna Sircilla district, is accused of involvement in multiple crimes, including theft and the sexual assault of a minor girl. He was previously arrested in July for a sexual assault case in Thimmapur and is alleged to have been involved in past kidnap and sexual assault incidents.
