A 29-year-old man, Shubham Shukla, has been arrested in Bengaluru for allegedly exploiting and defrauding two sisters. Police state Shukla first befriended the younger sister, a minor, and sexually assaulted her. He then allegedly lured the elder sister into a three-year live-in relationship, during which he defrauded her of approximately Rs 20 lakh and 200 grams of gold. The victim discovered Shukla was married and reported ongoing physical and mental abuse. He faces charges including those under the POCSO Act.
