A gas cylinder explosion during a wedding in Islamabad's Sector G-7 2 on Sunday killed eight people, including the bride and groom, and injured twelve. The blast damaged at least four houses and collapsed the venue where dozens of guests were present. Rescuers pulled 19 people from the debris. An inquiry is underway, with initial reports suggesting a gas leak caused the explosion. Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif expressed condolences.
