
The National Investigation Agency (NIA) has filed a second supplementary chargesheet naming three individuals, including a psychiatrist, in a Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) linked terror conspiracy case in Bengaluru. The accused, Anees Fathima, Chan Pasha A, and Nagaraj S, face charges under various acts including the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act. The case, initially registered in July 2023, involves a plot to disrupt India's sovereignty and facilitate the escape of a terror convict. Fathima, mother of an absconding accused, allegedly provided logistical support and funds, while Pasha, a police officer, shared escort details for illegal gratification. The psychiatrist, Nagaraj S, was reportedly involved in illegal activities within the prison.
