In Pune's Kothrud area, a 27-year-old security guard sustained burn injuries to his face and chest after his 22-year-old wife allegedly threw boiling tea at him during a domestic dispute. The incident occurred after an argument that reportedly began the previous night and escalated in the kitchen. The husband, married to the woman for about a year, filed a complaint, leading police to register a case under the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita for voluntarily causing hurt. The man is out of danger and receiving treatment.
