Immigration officials at Chandigarh airport apprehended an Afghan national, Mohammad Nasir, attempting to travel to Abu Dhabi using a forged Indian passport. Investigations revealed he entered India in 2019 under an assumed identity and had an Afghan passport. A look-out circular was active against him. He was arrested and remanded to police custody for further investigation into how the forged documents were obtained.
