
Seven individuals have been booked by Versova police in Mumbai for allegedly operating a milk adulteration racket. The group is accused of removing milk from packets of well-known brands, mixing it with water, and then resealing them to deceive customers. The operation was reportedly uncovered following a tip-off to the FDA and a subsequent raid. The accused face charges under the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita and the Food Safety and Standards Act.
