Manipur Security Forces Arrest Individual and Seize Arms in Anti-Insurgency Operations
In coordinated anti-insurgency operations in Manipur, security forces arrested Md. Eliyash Khan, also known as Apik and Rocky, for extortion and intimidation using a 9 mm replica pistol. Operations across districts also led to the seizure of arms, including a .32 pistol, two SBBL firearms, 71 rounds of ammunition, tear smoke shells, bulletproof gear, and military-style clothing. The arrested individual and seized items have been handed over to police for further action.
