The partially burnt body of a 47-year-old Assistant Sub-Inspector (ASI) of traffic police, Rakesh Meena, was discovered in his Udaipur residence on Tuesday. Meena had been absent from duty since December 21 and was alone at home. Police found his body on a burnt bed, with the fire contained to the room. The cause of the fire is currently under investigation.
