
Pune police raided a brothel in Budhwar Peth on March 5, rescuing five illegal Bangladeshi migrants, including four women, who were allegedly lured with false job promises and forced into prostitution. Three men, including a local resident and a Bangladesh-based agent, were arrested. Cases were registered under the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita and the Immoral Traffic (Prevention) Act. Investigations continue into the victims' illegal entry and exploitation.
