A clerk in the Beed Land Records office, identified as Manik Annasaheb Waghmare, was apprehended for allegedly accepting a Rs 10,000 bribe from a farmer. The farmer had applied for boundary fixing of his farm plot. The Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) laid a trap near Kaij on the Kaij-Beed road to catch the clerk in the act. Further investigation is ongoing.
