In Bangladesh's Rajbari district, 30-year-old Hindu fuel station worker Ripon Saha was killed after being run over by an SUV whose driver attempted to leave without paying for fuel. The vehicle, owned by Abul Hashem, a former Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) leader, was seized, and both Hashem and the driver were arrested. The incident has raised concerns amid a series of attacks on Hindu minorities ahead of the upcoming general elections. Separately, a Hindu businessman was beaten to death in Gazipur over a dispute unrelated to fuel payment.
