Manipur Police arrested an alleged drug smuggler in Imphal East, recovering approximately 310 grams of heroin valued at Rs 3 lakh. The seized drugs, originating from Myanmar, were reportedly being transported to Assam. The arrested individual, identified as Md. Mustakim, was found with the heroin and a Maruti Swift vehicle. He has been booked under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (Amendment) Act, 2023.
