Delhi Police Arrest 21-Year-Old for Reckless Driving on NH-48, SUV Seized

A 21-year-old man, Daud Ansari from Okhla, was arrested by Delhi Police for allegedly driving a black Scorpio-N SUV recklessly on National Highway-48's GT Karnal Bypass Road on January 18. A viral video showed the vehicle zigzagging dangerously, endangering commuters. The SUV, registered in his father's name, was impounded, and an FIR was filed under sections of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita and Motor Vehicles Act. Chief Minister Rekha Gupta confirmed the arrest and seizure, with investigations ongoing.
