In Koraput district, Odisha, police seized over 1,800 litres of hashish oil valued at around Rs 225 crore from an illegal manufacturing unit in a forest near the Odisha-Andhra Pradesh border. The operation also recovered more than two tonnes of ganja worth approximately Rs 5 crore from separate raids. Four individuals were arrested, with two from Semiliguda and two from Haryana. Authorities are pursuing the accused who fled and highlighted traffickers' shift to hashish oil due to its higher value and easier transport.
