Meerut Boy Abducted and Killed by Bank Manager Allegedly Seeking to Marry Mother
In Meerut, a 6- to 7-year-old boy named Angadveer was abducted and killed by Arpit Parashar (also reported as Arpit Sharma), a private bank manager who allegedly viewed the child as an obstacle to marrying his mother. CCTV footage showed the boy entering a vehicle before his disappearance. Parashar was arrested and confessed to killing the boy by slitting his throat, though he initially claimed to have disposed of the body in a canal. Police continue investigating and have questioned the boy's mother, who denies involvement.
