Patiala police have arrested eight individuals, including some school-going youths, in connection with a murder, extortion, and firing incidents. Ten pistols were seized, with some reportedly originating from Pakistan. The gang targeted businessmen and NRIs, and their alleged kingpin, operating from abroad, remains at large. The investigation began following a murder on December 28, which led police to uncover the organized criminal network.
