In Delhi's Bindapur area, a 32-year-old woman, Geeta, has been arrested for allegedly beating her 62-year-old father-in-law, Naresh Kumar, a retired Air Force officer, to death. Police received a call on December 27 regarding the incident, where Kumar was found unconscious on the roof of his house and later declared dead at a hospital. Investigators state an ongoing property dispute was the motive, with Geeta reportedly quarreling with her father-in-law over a share of the property. The accused has confessed to the crime, and a case has been registered under the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita.
