In Sialkot, Pakistan's Punjab province, a dispute at a petrol pump amid panic buying over fuel shortages linked to the US-Iran conflict led to a shooting. Two men, after being refused fuel in jerry cans due to government policy, returned with automatic weapons and fired on staff, critically injuring three workers. One worker, Muhammad Sibtain, died, while two remain in critical condition. The main suspect, Khawaja Munib, and four accomplices have been arrested. Rising fuel prices have contributed to panic buying nationwide.
