Three Youths Die in Head-On Collision Between Motorcycle and Van in Assam
Three youths from Chirakhundi village in Assam's Tamulpur district died in a head-on collision between their motorcycle and a van near Khandikar around 10 pm on Thursday. The deceased, aged 14 to 21, were returning from a wedding. Police apprehended the van driver and helper, and investigations are ongoing, including checks on the motorcycle's speed and helmet use. Locals expressed concerns over frequent high-speed incidents on the newly constructed road, prompting calls for stricter enforcement.
