Man and Stepmother Arrested for Alleged Killing of Four-Year-Old in Lucknow

In Lucknow's Chowk area, a man, Bhishma Kharbanda, and his second wife, Ragini, were arrested for allegedly killing Bhishma's four-year-old son, Arnav. The child, whose biological mother died in 2022, showed signs of sustained physical abuse, including 18 injury marks and multiple fractures. Police recovered household items such as a broom, rope, belt, knife, and scale suspected to have been used in the assaults. The case was registered following a complaint by the child's maternal grandmother, and investigations are ongoing.
