Mumbai Airport Customs Seize Hydroponic Weed and Gold in Multiple Smuggling Cases

Mumbai Airport Customs recently seized hydroponic weed worth approximately Rs 61 crore in multiple cases involving passengers arriving from Bangkok, with arrests made under the NDPS Act. Additionally, customs officers uncovered an international gold smuggling racket, arresting a Bangladeshi national and an airport staffer after recovering gold valued at Rs 2.15 crore. Investigations are ongoing to identify further associates involved in these smuggling activities.
