A fire in a single-story residential structure in Mumbai's Goregaon West on Saturday morning claimed the lives of three family members. The blaze, reported at 3:06 AM in Bhagat Singh Nagar's Rajaram Lane, was confined to electrical wiring and household items. Local residents attempted to douse the flames before firefighters arrived and cut the power supply. The victims, identified as Sanjog Pawaskar (48), Harshada Pawaskar (19), and Kushal Pawaskar (12), were declared dead on arrival at Trauma Care Hospital, with suffocation cited as the cause. The exact cause of the fire is under investigation.
