Three Men Die in Bengaluru After Suspected Toxic Fume Exposure in Water Sump

In Bengaluru's Whitefield area, three men—house owner Muniswamappa (67), plumber Rudhra Kumar (40), and delivery agent Vishwanath Achari (24-27)—died after entering an unused underground water sump for cleaning using chemicals. They reportedly suffered breathing difficulties due to toxic fumes in the confined space. Achari entered the sump to check on the others after they collapsed. Despite rescue efforts by police and locals, all three were declared dead at hospitals. Authorities have registered an unnatural death case and are investigating.
