
Customs officials at Mumbai and Bengaluru airports seized significant quantities of hydroponic weed and gold in multiple operations. Mumbai Customs recovered 23.593 kg of hydroponic weed worth about Rs 23.59 crore from three passengers arriving from Bangkok, along with 591.9 grams of gold valued at Rs 85.35 lakh from separate cases. Bengaluru Customs seized 18.61 kg of hydroponic ganja worth over Rs 6.5 crore from two passengers from Bangkok. Arrests were made under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, and investigations continue.
