Five Teenagers Drown in Separate Incidents Following Holi Celebrations in South India

During Holi celebrations on March 3, two separate drowning incidents occurred in Telangana and Andhra Pradesh. In Krishna district's Chikkavaram Kandrika village, three boys aged 12 to 16 drowned in a water tank after playing Holi, with police suggesting one slipped and others drowned trying to rescue him. In Hyderabad, two 17-year-old students drowned in Panthulu Cheruvu lake while swimming despite limited swimming skills. Authorities recovered all bodies and initiated investigations.
