Mother and Son Killed by College Bus in Bengaluru; Driver Flees Scene

On January 19 morning in Bengaluru, a 37-year-old woman named Sangeetha and her eight-year-old son Partha were fatally struck by a speeding private college bus while crossing Viveknagar Main Road. Both were associated with Army Public School, where Sangeetha worked and Partha studied. The bus driver fled the scene, abandoning the vehicle. Police have registered a hit-and-run case and are searching for the driver, identified as Sunil. The victims' bodies were sent for post-mortem examination.
