Bihar Police Implement Enhanced Security Measures Ahead of Holi Festival

Ahead of Holi on March 4, Bihar police have launched a comprehensive security plan to prevent disturbances. DGP Vinay Kumar directed officers to increase vigilance, especially in sensitive areas, with control rooms set up in each district for regular reporting. ADG Pankaj Kumar Darad emphasized deploying adequate forces and magistrates in mixed-population and historically tense locations. Authorities plan strict action against hooliganism and have reviewed past incidents to devise preventive strategies, with significant police deployment in Patna and other hotspots.
