The FBI has arrested 18-year-old Christian Sturdivant in North Carolina for allegedly plotting an ISIS-inspired attack on New Year's Eve. Officials state Sturdivant planned to use knives and hammers at a grocery store and fast-food restaurant, with a handwritten note detailing plans to stab up to 20 people and attack responding officers. Sturdivant, who allegedly pledged loyalty to ISIS and communicated with an undercover FBI employee, had previously come to the FBI's attention in 2022.
