Mumbai Court Denies Bail to Virgo Specialties CEO in Rs 65 Crore Mithi River Scam

Kadam is accused of masterminding a criminal conspiracy with BMC officials and contractors by manipulating tender conditions to compel contractors to hire machines from his firm at inflated rates. The prosecution alleges he funded travel and accommodation for officials and received payments through company and relative accounts. The court cited risk of evidence tampering and rejected defense claims disputing conspiracy charges.
