Punjab Police Seize 40 kg Heroin, Arrest Four in Amritsar Narcotics Operation

Punjab police's Counter Intelligence unit in Amritsar seized 40 kg of heroin and arrested four individuals—Narinder Singh, Suraj, Jacob Masih, and Ajay Kumar—from Kot Isse Khan, Moga district. The operation, based on specific intelligence, intercepted the suspects near DPS School on the Amritsar-Tarn Taran highway. Two vehicles used for transporting the drugs were also seized. Authorities are investigating the supply chain, including possible cross-border links, and seeking the handler, a proclaimed habitual offender active in Chandigarh.
