ED Arrests Madhya Pradesh Food Company Owner Over Adulterated Dairy Exports and Money Laundering

The Enforcement Directorate (ED) arrested Kishan Modi, owner of Madhya Pradesh-based Jayshri Gayatri Food Products Pvt. Ltd., for alleged money laundering and selling adulterated dairy products under the brand 'Milk Magic'. The company reportedly substituted milk fat with palm oil and harmful chemicals, exporting these products to countries including Bahrain, Hong Kong, and the UAE. The ED found 63 forged laboratory reports submitted to the Export Inspection Agency to obtain export clearance and froze fixed deposits worth Rs 6.29 crore linked to the company and its directors.
