Punjab Police Arrest Five in Separate Drug Cases, Additional Charges Filed
Police in Punjab arrested five individuals in separate operations involving heroin and other drugs. In Jalandhar, two youths were caught with 800 grams of heroin and Rs 1.72 lakh, linked to ongoing investigations into drug trafficking. In Phagwara and nearby areas, three others were arrested with smaller quantities of heroin and intoxicating tablets. Additional arrests include two persons charged with cash snatching and a motorcyclist booked for causing a fatal accident. Investigations are ongoing.
