Toddler Dies, Sister Hospitalized After Suspected Gas Leak in East Delhi Flat

A two-and-a-half-year-old girl died and her seven-year-old sister fell unconscious but remains stable after a suspected gas or chemical leak in a flat at Ashirwad Apartment, Mayur Vihar Phase-3, East Delhi. Both children were rushed to Metro Hospital in Noida, where the younger was declared dead. Police and District Disaster Management Authority teams inspected the premises, finding no immediate signs of foul play. A forensic chemical expert was called to investigate, and inquest proceedings are ongoing.
