Thane crime branch arrested Chinna Tagur Laxman Nayak, a Telangana resident, with 638 kg of marijuana valued at ₹2.04 crore. The drugs were found hidden in an Innova vehicle at the Kharegaon toll naka. Nayak allegedly ferried drugs from Odisha and Telangana to Thane. Police suspect he is part of a larger interstate drug network and are investigating to identify the source and intended recipients. This seizure follows several recent narcotics busts in the Thane region.
