Case Registered Against Two Individuals for Alleged Cheating of Thane Hospital Owner

Police in Thane, Maharashtra, have registered a case against two individuals accused of cheating a private hospital owner of Rs 10 lakh. The accused entered a 10-year partnership in 2016, investing Rs 63.20 lakh and receiving profits totaling about Rs 1.28 crore by 2021. They later withdrew abruptly, demanded additional money, and obtained cheques worth Rs 1 crore under alleged false pretences, with Rs 10 lakh encashed. Charges include cheating, criminal breach of trust, intimidation, and defamation.
