Migrant Worker Stabbed to Death in South Delhi Subway; Suspect Arrested
A 62-year-old migrant worker, Champai Ho from Jharkhand, was stabbed to death in the Dhaula Kuan subway in south Delhi on Thursday morning. Police arrested 48-year-old Anil Mandal, a vagabond from Bihar, identified through CCTV footage near the crime scene. Mandal, formerly an autorickshaw driver, has been living as a vagabond after family disputes. Ho and Mandal were strangers, and the motive remains under investigation. The incident has raised concerns about safety in Delhi's pedestrian subways.
