Rajasthan Man Arrested for Acid Attack on Schoolgirl After Rejection

A 14-year-old girl in Rajasthan's Sri Ganganagar district was injured in an acid attack by 19-year-old Omprakash, who was arrested after a three-day search. The accused, a photographer, reportedly targeted the girl after she refused to talk to him and scolded him. He planned the attack carefully, concealing his identity and fleeing the scene. The girl sustained burns on her clothes and one finger. Police offered a Rs 25,000 reward for information and paraded the accused publicly to deter similar crimes. Investigations continue.
