Maharashtra ATS Conducts Raids in Mumbai Over Suspected Online Extremist Propaganda

The Maharashtra Anti-Terrorism Squad (ATS) conducted coordinated raids at four locations in Mumbai's Govandi and Kurla suburbs on March 2-3, targeting individuals suspected of spreading online extremist propaganda linked to banned organizations, including ISIS. Acting on specific intelligence, the ATS seized electronic devices and questioned multiple suspects about their alleged connections with foreign handlers and recruitment efforts. The operation, carried out under the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act, is ongoing with further investigations and possible additional raids planned.
