Chemistry Teacher Arrested in Agra for Preparing MDMA Precursor Chemicals

A 36-year-old chemistry teacher, Manoj Kumar, was arrested in Agra for allegedly preparing precursor chemicals used in manufacturing MDMA, supplied to rave parties in Telangana. Police seized hundreds of litres of chemicals and equipment worth over Rs 1 crore from his rented premises. The arrest followed a joint investigation by Agra and Hyderabad police, triggered by the earlier arrest of a math teacher linked to the drug network. Manoj reportedly learned drug-making techniques from online videos and used his chemistry expertise in the operation.
