Two Arrested in Delhi for SIM Swap Scam Involving Credit Card Fraud

Delhi Police arrested two brothers, Sachin and Nitin Gupta, for allegedly conducting a SIM swap scam that led to fraudulent credit card transactions on a Delhi woman's account. The victim, Vandana Gupta, met Sachin on a train from Kanpur, who borrowed her and her son's phones under the pretext of making calls. Their mobile numbers were later deactivated, and three unauthorized transactions totaling over Rs 48,000 were made. Police traced the funds to accounts linked to the accused and are investigating further victims.
