An NRI man, Harpinder Singh, died in Punjab's Firozepur district after a pistol holstered at his waist discharged as he stood up from a sofa. The incident, captured on CCTV, shows the bullet hitting his stomach. He was taken to a hospital but died en route to another facility. Singh, who had recently returned from abroad and was married with a young daughter, was laid to rest on Tuesday. Police are investigating the accidental discharge.
