Nine individuals, including four police constables, have been arrested in Aizawl, Mizoram, for alleged involvement in a fake drug and fraud racket. Authorities state the group, comprising constables and civilian women, duped people by selling them fake narcotic substances and other contraband, amassing significant sums. The arrests followed a police operation on December 15, leading to the seizure of fake methamphetamine tablets and the apprehension of the alleged mastermind and accomplices.
