Woman Arrested for Alleged Gold Jewellery Theft at Latur Bus Stands

Police in Latur, Maharashtra, arrested Poonam Jitu Kamble (34) on March 4 for allegedly stealing gold jewellery from women passengers at bus stands in the district. Acting on a tip-off, the crime branch laid a trap near Renapur Naka bus stand, recovering a gold mangalsutra and chain valued at Rs 78,951. Kamble confessed to committing thefts with another woman over several months across locations including Ausa, Shirur Tajband, and Ahmedpur.
