A 25-year-old woman in Mumbai allegedly mutilated her 42-year-old partner after he refused to marry her. The incident occurred on New Year's Eve when the woman invited the man, with whom she reportedly had a seven-year relationship despite both being married, to her home. Police are investigating the attack, which took place in the Jamblipada area of Kalina.
