Delhi Traffic Police Enforces Zero-Tolerance Zones to Curb Violations and Ease Congestion

Delhi Traffic Police launched a 'zero-tolerance' enforcement drive targeting traffic violations such as improper parking, stop-line breaches, wrong-side driving, and permit offences across multiple busy locations, including Anand Vihar ISBT and Azadpur Mandi Chowk. The drive resulted in 2,175 challans and 23 vehicle impoundments, improving traffic flow. Additionally, designated 'Zero Tolerance' Zones have been established on major corridors like Ring Road to enhance lane discipline, crowd management, and reduce congestion and pollution, with ongoing strict enforcement planned.
